How can I keep my cats from eating my house plants?

Oooh. And some plants are poisonous to animals too. I would buy some catnip. It grows just like any other plant. We bought some for my daughter in law's cat. He like it and left everything else alone. You might try spraying the other plants with some repellent. You can buy these at the pet store or try spraying them with some soapy water. They may not like the taste then. Soapy water keeps bugs off too.

Hey there. Buy some cat grass... cheap at Petsmart or you can grow it from seed. Leave it on the ground for them to eat, very good for their digestive system and it will keep them out of your plants.
Reply:I gave up trying to stop my cats from eating my plants and bought them one of their own. I bought a cat friendly (non-toxic) plant and put it where they have access to it. As soon as they had a plant they weren't getting sprayed with vinegar water (note: add a little white vinegar to a spray bottle of water. Cats HATE the smell. It's highly effect) for they left the other's alone.
Reply:u can spray them with a spray called bitter apple. Can buy that at pet stores like Pet Smart or Pet Co
Reply:spray them with soapy water every few days. one it is good for the plants and two it will give the cats a nasty taste in their mouths and they will eventually stop going up and even trying to eat them.
Reply:Buy cactus.
