I want to get my bf's mother an exotic plant to put on the stair landing and I want it to be one that doesn't require too much attention. What are the best kind? I heard that there is a good japanese like shrub but don't know the name of it.
What type of house plants require little attention but are also pleasing to look at?
I have a peace lily and an anthurium. I neglect these plants pretty badly and they are still alive after 5 years. Anthurium is more exotic looking.
Reply:Are you refering to a cassula argenea or better known as a Jade plant? They are nice plants and talk about easy maintenance....they are a plant that acuallly does better if you just leave it alone and let it grow.
