What can you use on house plants to keep cats from eating them?

use cayenne pepper... take store bought cayenne pepper powder it can be found in your local grocery store empty a shaker full in a quart of water and heat . let stand till cool the strain through a piece of cloth put liquid in a spay bottle and spay plants lightly once a week ... DO NOT allow this liquid to get in your eyes as it will burn !!! your cats will leave this alone I assure you its also good for dogs getting in garbage and animals in your garden

put moth balls in the pots
Reply:try placing a couple of mothballs in the pot...cats absolutley hate the smell of them and they wont harm your plant...
Reply:I had the same problem with my cat. She would eat every plant in sight. I went to the local nursery and they gave me some catnip * the fresh, growing stuff* and catgrass...she chewed on the catnip...went crazy and never bothered with the plants again.
Reply:i have cats myself and i had to throw out the plants.my cats are worth more to me than a plant.
Reply:They sell little plants just for cats. Maybe if you buy one of those, it'll leave your house plants alone. I think it has vitamins in it as well, though Im' not 100% sure.
