There are plants that require sunlight and other that dont.

There are plants that use soil and others that only need water. Soil plants can drown. Be sure your pot has holes underneath and a drip pan or flower pot base.

It is important to make sure that the plant could breathe. They breathe in Carbon Dioxide and let out Oxygen. Do you speak to your plants? If not dont find it silly. Find it necessary.

Some environments are dustier than others amke sure you dust off thick leave plants.

Some environments are not safe for plants such location have other substances mixed in with the air. Beware of fumes from automobiles as well as nearby manufacturing plants or even a dry cleaners or laundry facility nearby.

It is also important that you spray your plant with mist of water to keep the leaves moist.

Good Luck.
Reply:Probably too much water.
