House plants for someone with a black thumb?

I definitely don't have a green thumb...are there any small houseplants out there that are virtually indestructible? my apartment needs a little life:)

House plants for someone with a black thumb?
The following plants were made for people with black thumbs. They turn them green.

Reply:Try Kalanchoes. I think that's waht they're called. Theyre a succulent so they don't need a lot of water (mine got gross unitl I STOPPED watering them, then flowered nicely!), and they grow bunches of red, orange, or pink flowers. Also Ivy and Spider plants only take a little water a week so you can forget about them. And if you have a lot of space, a small ficus might work.
Reply:Silk plants are nice...and you don't have to remember to water them....or worry about indoor animals eating them.
Reply:Pathos and Mother in laws tongues are almost impossible to kill, easy to grow and take a lot of neglect (at least mine do).
Reply:You can also try the Aloe Vera.
Reply:There is a common house plant called "Cast Iron plant," and like the name suggests it can take a lot of abuse. It has dark green leaves and does best in filtered sunlight. I've also found peace plants very easy to care for.
Reply:Try different sizes and types of Cactus Plants, they have fat ones and tall skinney ones that are quite beautiful and some produce very pretty flowers

  1. Have you ever heard of red pip berry wreaths? I hear those are gorgeous. Do you have any clue if there is a way to keep a wreath lively, not dead looking?
